Quite, it t'would seem that Leo finally decided to do what he thought was necessary and took his position at the head of Starlight. We've been contacted by him to, "rejoin the team", so to speak. In discussions with the crew of the Darkhorse and the accompanying Zenith, we've decided to accept their offer and have once again resumed duties under the Consortium.

As has always been the case Albert, the Starfliers are always welcome to join Starlight in our exploration and research duties. You have been our "partners in crime" since the halycon days of our respective formations, and I do not see that ending anytime soon. We'll be outside of communications range after this message is sent, but we hope to see you again within approximately a week.

Also, Leo wanted me to send you something...something concerning. We recently did a pass through Dublin to do regular scans of the destroyed New London jump gate there. We have been doing regular scans of the forming anomaly at it's center since it's destruction. We were ordered to aim our powerful scanning array at it considering smaller ships have been getting increasing levels of interference from it over the recent months...the report below is from myself to Dr. Morningstar. It's important both of our teams invest resources into studying these anomalies considering our proximity to a major one.

Director,

As requested, the Darkhorse and Zenith recently made a pass by Dublin before our resumption of surveys in the Lambda cluster via Roussillon. You were correct in assuming our scanning array would penetrate the interference through which other smaller Starlight ships were unable to. What was discovered by cutting through said interference is concerning. The anomaly in Dublin displays similar characteristics to that of our own in Tau-23 when unstable. However, what is more alarming is the amount of radiation being thrown off from the forming anomaly.

Disturbingly, we detected trace amounts of non-typical Hawking radiation emanating from its center and exuding outwards towards the edge of the debris site. My limited knowledge of quantum mechanics tells me that this may be less of an anomaly and more of a rift in space--possibly a forming tear not unlike that of a jump hole, its endpoint a mystery.

I would recommend further study of the anomaly in Dublin along with the aid of our Starflier cousins next door. No doubt our numbers are diminished, and they would be able to shore up our lack of manpower...not to mention joining hands in the spirit of camaraderie.

We will be deploying from Roussillon shortly to the Lambda cluster for approximately four days and will return for a debrief on the 14th. We will have limited communications until then.
