Adjutant Royce. This channel's meant explicitly for allied coordination and planning. If you've got accusations to make, do it in another channel so that we can keep the traffic clean.
With that being said: coming into the ops channel with accusations like this ain't a good look, especially since you're here as guests, not members of the movement. What you've got to share amounts to an anonymous and unverifiable testimony accusing Prometheus of having infectees in their ranks, and not shooting aliens. While the accusation's serious and maybe worth considering, you've got literally no proof of anything apart from your anonymous source.
I'm happy to hear more from you if you've got more to share. But bring some independently verifiable and concrete evidence, instead of this "he said, she said" bullshit. If people took every isolated accusation of alien infection as truth, then nobody'd ever get anything done. And, most importantly: keep it to other channels. Priority comms get drowned out in this kinda mess.
Allied forces, don't cut coordination with Prometheus until we've got more proof. We literally don't have the numbers to be picky about this right now.
As for you, Jackal: I'll break down for you why it ain't a good idea to shoot independents.
First: it's bad optics. Shooting civilians destroys sympathy. We're fighting an ideological war, and anything that we do that paints us in a worse light gives Liberty more justification to shoot us, and destroys sympathy that we're tryina build with the local population. It's especially important right now that we try to maintain an image, 'cuz we need more numbers, and if people think we're just pirates and terrorists blowing up random workers who're just trying to get by, then nobody's gonna wanna join our cause. An independent flying under a freelancer IFF ain't a good target for proving that we're on the people of Erie's side.
Second: it's bad for morale. Zoners on Erie are despondent right now, and they don't think the war's winnable. Militants in the movement haven't had a big win in ages, and need something to lift their spirits. If we focus on shooting independents tryina mine out the cloud, or doing anything else in Pennsylvania, then that's gonna destroy hope for Zoners on Erie. A lot of Erie Zoners have no choice but to work for house corporations right now, 'cuz Liberty has destroyed their prospects.
Third: it makes Liberty heighten security. Attacks on independents and civilians in the system are the best way to make Liberty lock shit down. The last thing we want right now is for Liberty to see activity rising and deploy a battlegroup or something to Erie before we're ready.
Fourth: it diverts resources from coordinated operations. We need every gun we can possibly get right now, and we need them at peak readiness. I'm sure y'could get your ship online for a group effort if y'really needed to, but there are way better things that y'could be doing with a Q-ship than terrorizing people--not to mention the risk if y'lose your ship.
Finally: it doesn't accomplish anything right now. Blowing up an independent transport is like poking holes in a coinpurse with a needle: holes ain't gonna be big enough for anything important to fall out.
We've got plans in the works. Y'don't have to resort to murdering civilians to get shit done around here. Pay attention to the other comms and see how y'can pitch in. And don't expect anyone to help you out with killing independents.
As a final note to you, Jackal: the Platform are our allies and their word should be taken as being as good as any Militant's. I've personally seen the Order and LSF in the Independent Worlds, and it's old news that the LSF is shooting us. As far as the Order goes--we'll need some concrete proof before we can act on that, just like with the accusations against Prometheus.
Now, all of you, quit bickering and pointing fingers at each other, you're cluttering the channel. Keep the channel to essential comms and coordination only. Play nice, or I'm gonna start revoking access privileges.
