I have a sneaking feeling that the Kearsarge is part of the problem. The main issue is with me not wanting to take orders from LN when they are completely contradictory to what we need to keep Liberty mostly pirate free. Yes, I have engaged fighters when they fly directly in front of my ship. I dont actively seek them out. Yes I did attack an order tagged pirate IDed corsair gunboat named Kaiser Soze after a different Indy got pilots from him. Do we not attack known pirates if they agree to be nice as long as we are there? Yes I did kill the same gunboat when it came back a few min later with an Osiris for backup that I also destroyed. Oh and yes I was part of a group that destroyed a Corsair Cruiser for not leaving our space no matter how many times we ordered them to leave our space, even offering an escort.
I have been called a cap whore among other things many times for engaging a pack or bombers or singling out a gunship for destruction. Personally it does not bother me one bit. The LN can PVP me till they drop, I will not join the 522nd to get around the ban. They know my feelings when it comes to their members. I will continue to be in Liberty the same way I have always been. If the LN need help, I will show up guns blazing like I always have. If they attempt to destroy my ship because I will not submit to their orders well they better bring a lot of backup, I dont get destroyed easily. My loyalty to Liberty remains as strong as ever, no matter how many times you call me a traitor Talon.
A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.
