I think if this was a faction dedicated to just getting rid of the coalition, it may have a chance, though I'd defer to the SCRA in light of their better understanding of all things Coalition.

The KOS on all pirates is what really kills it for me. That's pretty much asking for a license to shoot anything red on your scanners.
