The order uses nomad technology, and understands it well enough to keep it relatively 'safe', so no I dont think so.

After all, i'm fairly certain that many of the nomad cannons and blasters in use now were actually developed/built by the order to try and gain an edge against our enemies. It's pretty obvious that theres no way humanity (or such a small portion of it as the order) is going to win an intergalactic space war with another alien empire if we cant learn to use more advanced technology from them.
