to question 2: if the engines of a ship are very far apart from ech other and the centre of the ship other cds than the train cd are more or less useless. the train cd has such a large blast radius it disrupts nearly anything besides a juggernaut and a rheinland bs without any aiming at all. for jugggernaut and rheinland bs you need to aim to be able to disrupt them.
