Instalation of SP3 , i think (forgot) resets all system settings for LAN adapters... and it reactivates windows firewall , so , what might be problem is :

- Windows firewall not configured

- Port on router not opened for Freelancer

I had exactly same problem with SP3.. but then i solved it with fixing above mentioned.

Now i am running XP + SP2 with all SP2 updates without any problems, both at work and home.
