i mean like a luxury liner that was boarded by pirates, vips sold into slavery, valuables stolen, ship captured instead of destroyed. or a prison liner where the prisoners managed to overpower the guards, possibly with help from outsiders trying to free their commrades, most prisoners then left but some had no-where to go so remained on the prison liner. - those are along the lines i was thinking.
