Perhaps we should take this time to discuss all the other things that are horrifically scaled in Freelancer?

I think if these pods were scaled to match larger ships with similar sized windows and such, it would lose most of its charm. I would much rather that it stayed this way, since it is unique and recognizable, something a block with rows of white squares isn't.

I think miniaturization and every other aspect of design and engineering would have come a very long way by 817 AS. As an example of this, take Cryocubes, or perhaps even thrusters and shield generators.
