Freighter Discussion

TheMasterElite and I were bored for several days (MONTHS ago, not sure if I still have my copy) and decided to come up with some algorithms to fix this.

We managed to come up with one that would work with the mining mod's price adjusting thing to make freighters more profitable by unit of volume than a larger transport.

Per trip a large ship still makes more money, but a freighter running cardamine would be netting around 16-17mil per round trip instead of 5 or 6. Large transport (4-5k) would still be in the 25-35mil range.

Barges, though, would become hideously inefficient.

Unless you unloaded them with Dromedaries. In which case you'd make something like 5 billion.

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
