The sounds of my rifles gunshot rang out throughout the area.

The raider units were now our prisoners as we loaded them
up in one of the trucks. Travis and myself still watching
from my sniping post.

"Stewart and Travis go ahead and head down. We've got it
from here."

"Roger that Steph, Travis and I are heading down now."

We packed up our toys and went back to the truck.

Arriving at the truck. I always loved this truck. The
oldest truck in the Brotherhood to date and one of the
toughest too. It was an old 1996 Ford F-350 model.
Black paint with reinforced chassis and windows.
With a 4in raise kit for the suspension. Oh and can't
forget the carefully mounted machine gun on the bed.
With the 6 flood lights. This truck was a rare sight
to see for any enemies.

Travis got in the passenger seat like always and I got
in and started the truck up.

We sat there for a minute to see if any order would come
in. No chatter on the radio for us today.

Travis and I started to head back to my house.

"Stewart, where ya heading?"

"Uhh we're heading to my place Steph, why?"

"You got a visitor at HQ. Head over there please."

Travis looked at me a bit confused. Neither of us
ever have a visitor.

I turned the truck toward HQ and headed that way.
Our HQ, like most of our facilities stuck out like
a sore thumb. It was largest building in the city and
the most guarded. All Brotherhood buildings were
painted a opaque white color. Making them very
noticeable to anyone who was a friend or enemy.

We were a few miles out from it and were able to
see it from where we were. It wasn't much of a
drive though. Nothing really deadly.

We were going down a road at 80 miles per hour.
Normally there is never any traffic out in the
combat zones. This area of the city was a safe
zone. A 10 mile radius around the HQ. If any
combat occurred in this zone you would surely
be killed by either robotic weapon fire or
brotherhood weapons fire. We had men
stationed at almost every corner of the safe
zone. Making it almost impossible to get
anywhere if attacked.

Finally arriving at the gate to HQ the guards
saluted us as we drove in.

Earlier in the year we made a path for our
truck to park in. We parked the truck at
the top of the stairs to the HQ. Right
next to the entrance. Just to be show
offs but we found the truck to be a great
deterrent to any hostiles that may want to
attack the base.

Travis and myself holstered our weapons
as we entered the building. Both of our
helmets were still on. The only way
people knew to salute us was by the
armor we wore.

The entrance was welcomed by two large
giant white reinforced doors. Once through
the doors is a long lobby. Large enough to
house a large mech if it was needed. If was
needed. After every fifth support to the building
there was an opening in the supports.
On each side was a large mech. A total
of four mechs lined the hallway.

Travis and I continued to walk all the way to
the end of the lobby. A desk was in the center
of the end of the lobby. A receptionist with two
armed guards was at the desk. They all knew
who we were and let us pass by to the second
set of large doors. Not massive like the first
set. Just larger than a normal door.

Going through these doors lead you to a row of
elevators for a set amount of floors. The elevator
we needed was at the end. Which was the only
elevator that went to the top floor. The only
floor that didn't have a staircase that connected
to it. This elevator was also guarded by two
armed guards.

The two guards saluted us as we entered it.
The door closed as the elevator ascended.
