I like this idea.

The only bad point is: if you own a Shipyard (or anything else) and human player buy a ship , you won't have the money...
And if you haven't got this money , you won't be able to make it profitable !

Second thing I thought (what could be cool for role-play): when you go to Commodity Trader in a planet (or anywhere else) , does the number of commodity you can buy is only limited by your Ship's cargo hole ?

Example: I want to buy (I know it impossible but it's just for example) 1 millions of Food Rations... I go to Commodities Trader... he'll have 1 millions of units in his stock ?

I asked that to tell you that: If you own a place what sell something , it could be cool to have to buy a certain quatity of a certain commoditie to be able to sell it to other players.

Example: I own a station what sells Diamonds... Someone (human player) want to buy 2.000 units of Diamonds. But I have got only 1.600 units in my stock. So I have to buy new Diamonds anywhere.

Understood ?
But I don't think it's possible !
