Well I just repeat my previous post here. That's about the same post I had posted in the Phantoms' thread.
But with the Phantoms there's the whole thing of themselves making their own RP out of scratch, and being able to make it so that they have X power in RP.
Same as if any other faction for that matter had the self-made RP of being *insert RP* powerful.
Like say if the Colonials, or some other built from scratch in FL faction had something more powerful than the others in RP, they could all make a case as to why have a small percentage stronger equipment than the rest.
Now don't take this the wrong way please, I ain't trying to pull you down or anything, just saying that the power of the Nomads is from canon Freelancer RP.
I personally don't see the current state as them being too powerful.
You can't compare the Nomads and Phantoms in all cases, in my opinion.
Note: I can bet at least 5 people will take my post the wrong way. Oh well, bugger.

You should learn to live with it if you have chosen to be a part of a specific faction that barely recruits people due to the high standarts and expectations of RP'ing capability and tendency that is set by you, which I don't have a problem with.
If every overwhelmed faction was to start lobbying for advaned guns and dwell it in the argument of being overwhelmed by numbers, we wouldn't have a very stable understanding of things as we have been having upto date.
@Kress and others mentioning this argument.
Noone said being outnumbered is the reason for having more powerful equipment. RP, and the Igiss accepted Nomad lore is.
I only mentioned the "outnumbered thing" as to prevent arguments of the type "Where's the balance of all weapons? We don't want to have people with more powerful ships than us, even if it does make sense".
And just to note to everyone, I am not in any Nomad faction, nor even have Nomad Trial chars. This is me saying what makes sense to me, in impartiality.
