Portugal wasn't invaded in WW2 either. This wasn't much of an achievement either.
I suppose, Switzerland would have given the Germans a strategically strong position though, just the fact that it is between countries they were conquering (unlike Portugal) and they chose to go around it says something I think. But I dont know enough about Swiss history to say definitively either way.
