So here's a short description of what happened. Last day I was trading at Omega 49 when some guy halted me. As any trader would do I halted and told him a warm and friendly "What?". So he told me to give him 1mil credits, "what a surprise" I thought" and after a short discussion abou why should I pay him if I already paid a rogue and whatever I decided to pay before my ship was blown, and as soon as I began cruising away "what the @!$#!!?" The guy was a gaian terrorist, and I was just pirated. So I began talking to him a about his recent actions and this conversation came out.
Me: So why are you out of your ZOI
-no answer.
Me: you know you are outside of your ZOI right
-no answer.
Me: so you are not answering
-no answer.
Me: i could fill a sanction report but i dont wan to ruin no ones's fun
me: so better explain why you pirated me
Him/her/it: I can pirate whoever I want as long as they are not ally.
Him/her/it: my faction is a terrorist one
me: not if you are putside you ZOI
Him/her/it: my ID doesnt say anything about ZOI
me: neither does any of the other IDs but you see a Xeno in rheinland?
No more screenshots were taken so I don have specific conversation beyond that point but by what i remeber is, that the guy then complained about not understanding his ID and that it was confusing And me telling him that I was going to ask in the forums, adn not fill a sanction report yet.
------>So my questions are:
1) Was he allowed to pirate me in Omega 49? take into account that Corsairs are the criminals in the system and gaians are their allies.
2) If he is a terrorist, is he allowed to ask for money?
3) How stupid I was for being distracted and not paying atention to his/her/its tag:$
4) Could someone make a thread that explains this kind of situations to avoid future issues similar to this one (If you already have excuse me for my ignorance).
So as mentioned above I have screenshots but, I wont post them unless necessary.
So if this could be clarified ASAP I would be very thankful.
P.S: now that I think about it, I wont make a report for 1mil bucks, and srry for the looong thread
