Er ... yeah ... I was picturing Omega 15 when I posted that ... 49's the Zoner system. Anyway ... logic still fits ... should the only players in Omega 49 be Zoners, Corsair and BH? Those are the only NPC factions you find flyin about. And the only bases are Zoner.

Yeah i've seen gaians getting warned for ZOI violation too. As far as I think this is an ID misunderstanding problem, Gaians should basically attack transports carrying terraforming gases, miing machiones, etc. This is a problem similar to that of the researcher, where the guy thinks that for buying researcher ID he/she thinks can legally trade a full cargo of cardi or artifacts straight into manhattan; just that in this case the guy thought he could pirate like a corsair or rogue, etc. Why not getting a rogue/hacker/OC/corsair/etc etc ID then
I would agree with you about choosing a faction you'd be out of your ZOI ... but that doesn't mean you can't be there. I see Liberty Navy vessels flyin about everywhere (with Navy ID's to boot) ... never see anyone posting concern about that here. Seems the only time ZOI comes into play in the forums is when its a pirate type out of his/her ZOI. When I see an equal concern for a lawful out of his ZOI ... I might agree with you on this whole ZOI issue. And Cardi sells at unlawful bases for almost as much as Manhattan. Hint hint ... Junkers on Beaumont and Rogues on Buffalo buy the stuff and distribute it throughout Liberty ... and you sell it for only about 50 credits per unit less. ;)

Omega 49 has two Zoner bases, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote.
Now, Omega 15 has a Rheinland battleship by the JH to Dresden, the Junker base down in the scrap cloud, and the BH base defending the BHG guard system. Now, if he was in Omega 15, then I'd REALLY be concerned about his being out of his ZOI. But in Omega 49 - not that big of an issue, since it's close enough to Dublin.
