I have a question regarding the name, the player faction tag and the affiliation.
I have seen topics on the forum, where players complain about opponents referring to their player faction tag or affiliation. I am a little bit confused now. What exactly is considered out of roleplay? I know that I usually have to look for the ship-ID, to identify a vessel.
Let`s say I am still 9k away from the target "Junker - .:j:.Name.Here". What part of this information is transferred to my ship?
- May I say, "greetings Congressman Name.Here"?
- Or do I have to ignore his player faction tag and say "greetings Junker Name.Here"?
- Or do I simply say, "greetings Name.Here" because mentioning his IFF or player faction tag would be out of roleplay?
