I'm pretty much new here but hum..

Since the civilian ID isn't the ID for a RP Civilian but it is actually for newbies you shouldn't use it even if you say it's for the sake of role playing a civilian. Because one way or another, you'll probably get scanned by a player RPing a police or whatever and then things are going to get complicated.

I say : get the proper ID for your ship or get the proper ship for your ID and try finding the best way to do what you were trying to do in the first place without going against rules or RP logic.

And they should only change the name of the ID for something else so that it solves any other future problems regarding it.

Anyway, that's only my opinion :P
