How is running rough shot across the entire sector until you decide the French are a good fit any better? Plus, you're assuming that Liberty is a totalitarian dictatorship without reason.

Because it is.

How many Nomads are on the Western end of Sirius? How practical is it to hide, with the goal of hunting and killing all non-Humans, when the nearest source of said non-humans is on the EAST end of Sirius? i.e. Across the freakin' sector.

It isnt as far away as you'd think, the two entrances to gallia are only 2-3 system jumps away from nomad space, via passing through outcast territory.

The primary reasons for going to gallia:
-Nobody there knows Aki, so there are no pre-existing prejudices against her
-Nobody there even knows about the Order
-In terms of information trade, they're the only semi-trustworthy group to deal with, and both would want the information that my Carrier has, the crown would use it against Sirius, the council would use it to improve relations with Sirius.

At this point, the goal is to disappear so I can recouperate and repair the ship. As explained before, there is no group in Sirius that I can both trust and which has the supplies to help me out, most factions have one or the other, but not both. The Council and the Gallic Government have both.

I'm with Turkish, there are bound to be other alternatives. I mean, join Rheinland. You could make a point about keeping yourself independant of their command, you could still bust caps at Liberty (as they'd no doubt shoot you anyways) if a favor was needed, and you could hunt the Wilde.

The Order has worked closely with the Rheinland Military in the past, what assurance would Aki have that word of her operations in Rheinland wouldnt filter back through the RM to the Order High Command? One Day I'd be blasting Wilde, the next I'd be surrounded by a fleet of Order Warships ready to bring me down.



Many of you say I could "give order technology to" such and such factions, but most of the equipment onboard the Carrier is damaged from months of combat with no real repairs undertaken, and I have no technology to spare - I cant just rip off a turret and hand it over to someone. I can give blueprints, sure, but considering materials, construction methods, and facilities at hand, it's unlikely most factions would be able to do much with them.

Unioners - No real connections with any of those groups and a dose of Order technology could do them well. They're shipyard workers so they could do maintenance. It works if you consider the Liberty/Rheinland situation nomad-related, too.

A possibility, but the Unioners have no capital ships of their own, and with good reason... they have no bases large enough to support them. Last I checked (though I am about two months out of date), the Unioners have no real shipyards of their own, only a couple small outposts.

Hessians - They hate the Wild and an ex-Order ship would be taunting the Corsairs, especially if it was kept aways away from the important fronts, like, say, Casablanca. Also close to the Wild menace.

Another semi-decent possibility, but as above I'm trying to avoid rheinland space, it's not easy to move around and the RM has a complete lockdown on the house. Kusari was fairly easy to pass through relatively unhindered, but in Rheinland I'd be facing attacks left and right from the RM, RFP, Wild, Corsairs, and any number of other organizations. I'm one ship with half a crew and a limited amount of supplies - I cant go waging a war by myself, stealth is of importance here.

Mollys - Like the Hessians but without the Wild threat. Of course, it depends on if Aki sees the Kusari/Bretonia situation as nomad manipulated, too.

I have nothing to offer the mollies that would counterbalance the bounty on my head.

Gaians - If you supply them with some information acquired about nomads and their power generation technology, they may support you. There's an issue of the Corsairs finding out, of course. If she could convince them her fight is similar to theirs, though, there is the possibility of some interesting RP.

Too close to the corsairs and Order, not to mention bretonia hates me.

Once again, at the people saying "ZONERS!" - too close to the order, too high a risk of order operatives, or even corsair operatives, being onboard freeports and other zoner bases. I'm trying to get away from the Order, not closer to it.

If searching OORP for a home doesn't work out, perhapsdoing so inRP would? Then you would at least have your conclusions easily confirmed or, as it may be for many of them, refuted. It may very well indirectly generate good amounts of good role play, perhaps in the form of factions trying to track Aki down as she searches.

She absolutely hates the Guild, they killed the captain she used to serve under, destroyed her first warship, and killed nearly her entire crew all in one blow. I wont work with them... ever.
