So I've been on this server for about a week now, and I'm starting to get into the hang of RP, the conventions, and what's changed from the vanilla game. Now I need to actually get somewhere.

What I'm most troubled about at the moment, is how to raise funds. I've got two (now potentially three) characters. An LPI officer in a liberator, and a low level civilian trader, currently stuck in a Rhino, with a few good trade routes.

So, without flaming me, what's your advice? Is hours of powertrading the only way to get on the ladder to success here? Or maybe joining a trader faction?

All advice appreciated.
