Hathor Gunboat - Zoner design but only Order build it?

When the Zoners constructed their gunboat, a more offensive variant prototype was developed at the same time. This design was then secretly shared with the Order, who then developed plans for large scale construction. Thus was birthed the Hathor. Acting mainly as an anti-fighter/bomber ship, this successful class rapidly became the most produced capital class vessel in the Order. With an advanced reactor and superior targeting system, the Hathor has superior firepower, to meet the needs of its intended role; to reduce any hostile scouts trying to penetrate Order territory to their core, flaming, components.

Now... if this gunboat has been designed by Zoners... how come they're not also built by them?

As the 'Conference' class gunboat is designed to replace the 'Dromedary' freighter - a pretty costly replacement tho :unsure:- shouldn't the Zoners be able to build "a more offensive variant" aswell - sort of like the Kusari have the Explorer and the Navy Gunship?

What I'd like to suggest is to - additionally to where it is sold to/by the Order - have the 'Corinth' station in Omicron 74 sell the vessel as "Zoner Guard only" ship and adjust the infocard to something like this:

Seeing how successful the Order used the Hathor to fight back hostile fighters, the Zoners started producing their own gunboat design in 817 A.S., in order to increase their escort pilots chances to counter the increase of Nomad activity and incursions of recent years. As this was of course met with suspicion by the Orders enemies, only Zoner Guard pilots were allowed to use it, as they were deemed to have their cultures common ideals at heart and behave accordingly.

This way the 'Conference' gunboat would be available as 'the' unaligned gunboat anyone could buy, while the Zoner Guard would (re-)gain access to a gunboat design (they had access to in the first place anyway:crazy:) which is more offensive.
