Petition: Royal Liners (And Possibly Even Luxury Liners)

You could more accurately say that's stolen from ocean liners, or the lib dread is stolen from modern-day battleships... funny that.

As to this idea, there are too many royal liners bumbling about, when really there should only be a very few. However, that's not to say they should be SRP only, the admins have a lot to do already, and like said - it isn't a 'fantastic ship' in terms of trade or combat. There are many many 'rare' ships which are actually all over the place, I'd rather not see them all limited

Yes, but you see, the Royal Liner is crap. It can't make money, and its full defensive potential (which makes even less money) still isn't enough to ward off a lone bomber or a Gunboat unless you're unusually close to a friendly/neutral base, at which point you get insulted for 'poor Arr Pee.' If we have to restrict it to get its full potential realized than so be it, but I bloody intend to keep playing this ship and I am going to fight tooth and nail until I can fly the damn thing without getting pirated by every Tom, Dick and Harry with a CD who guesses which path around the trade lanes I'm going to take.
