That said, while I would love to be a mod, I am clearly far too unpopular to get voted in.
In such case, I support the current admins taking a vote!
And if that fails, then I nominate myself as the only person who gets to decide whether I become a mod or not!
And if that fails...aw crap.
The boys upstairs will pick whoever they think will do the job best, if they decide to do any picking at all, which, suffice to say, will probably not be me, will definitely not be Tenacity (which I think he knows and accepts as much as I do), but hopefully will not be most of the other names put forward, either (bluntness and honesty are better than tact and hidden agendas). While Discovery as a whole needs to choose its Admins the Moderation Team has been primarily selected by Admins and no-one but, and that's how I'd prefer it to remain. After all, a Moderator is nothing but a glorified, underpaid janitor; a position that needs filling, certainly, but not one that need be voraciously fought over. Jeez, people, this isn't like a soccer team or something.
