Battleships- a solution

I'm going to go with Number Two for $500, Alex.

I've been of the opinion that Battleships need to be Special RP Request regardless of who buys them for a long time now, but I think that Two does the exact same thing, and the reason is that factions are under a huge amount of scrutiny already. A smaller but very vocal part of this community take great pains to watch factions for slipups and nitpick about things; some of them are legitimate and doing a good thing by trying to enforce quality control, and some of them are just Libertarians. The Factions can't get away with much and know how not to bugger up. If an indy really desires a Battleship (or Battlecruisers, we should consider those for inclusion as well) that much he should be able to Special RP Request one (possibly for a sizable fee, maybe 250 mil, so the SpecRP Request section doesn't get spammed to death; the fee would be put towards purchase of the ship if granted); it should be pretty easy to tell the difference between a lulz and somebody who actually knows how to RP a ship that size.

ok i voted for faction restriction but useing myself as an example ive had my BC sense 4.84 i had to get a 25mill loan for it from a friend in the end what your esentally doing by makeing a fee ilimiteing people who cant trade or otherwise dont have the funds for the ship i cant fly fighters my cruiser is the only form of pvp i can get and 90 percent of the time im in it i dont pvp

you all sayt ''join a faction '' 'factions sadly want you to spend time in a fighter and most of them need you to beable to use said fighter in pvp combat to get promited in adation to x amount of time or NPC kills to advance in rank i dont fly fighters or bombers for inexplainable hardwerre lag and hardwere lag (yet other mods work fine)so thats a disadvantagfe for me ,i dont like tradeing facions because they either make you give like half your funds to them or you get a ship that dosent hardly make enough to do its job(of tradeing)

if that idea above goes through let people get grandfathered(you all know the fort louisbourg) so sa i dont log on oneday and find a sanction in my hold"ilegal ship" with my guns and whatever sparse credits i have gone(i prolly have 50 mill total across al l5 of my charcters yes i only have 5 3 of those are liberty based ones a trader the 5ths a freelancer) (dont have many because i lack funds to set them up and selling my bcx to support the others doswnt give enough return cash)

while i may never get a battleship(tho people say i should buy one) in the end nomatter what we do if we keep demanding rules the mod wil levewntually become unplayable the real solution is to allow factions to shoot any ''stolen'' warships like before the mandate from the order problem prevented that
