What's your problem ? You can't bring 3 bomber crafts and beat them ?
We don't need to restrict BS to "well known players".

Dont come at me with that pathetic arguement. ive spent more time, ive got more experience, and ive whored the bomber class much more than you have, to know what ships to bring to counter caps, so dont try to teach me what i should and shouldnt do to counter battleships.

this is a probable solution i threw out to counter all the hypocrisy, whining and bitching that have become a standard on the forums, where every day or every week, someone or the other -has- to complain about something or the other. Im not saying to restrict it to "well known players". read the OP. read it again. read it till the message gets through your thick skull. i was suggesting to restrict battleships to official player factions, not "well known players".

It's also fun to see it coming from the leader of hellfire legion and a keeper player.
Aren't the nomad ships enough boosted ? If you have gank problems, you should not have played into isolated groups. BS have less speed so you can thrust away and cruise once you're out of range.

If you will resort to personal insults, at least get to know your information correctly. I do not lead the HF any more, having given it up nearly a month and a half ago. Im a keeper yes, but everyone knows you have a personal bias against the faction from which you were thrown out for acting like a complete tard. remind me, where in any of my posts did i talk about nomad ships? its funny how you keep tying the Keepers into every thread made by a member of the faction, looking for any method to flame them (without any success).

Do yourself a favor. read the thread, stick to the conversation, or avoid posting and wasting other peoples' time. next time instead of responding to your mindless drivel, ill just get a mod or admin to delete your trash.

As always, I'd like to ask - what led you to the creation of this question? Any particular cases that could serve as an example, so that we can understand your motives without the obscuring generalization? Because from where I stand, a Liberty dreadnought is something completely different than, say, a Togo or a Spyglass. Or the Xeno Battleship.

if you read up, I answered why I made this thread in my response to grimly.

reading some of the posts, i agree on a few points. lets face it- discovery is at a point were honour, courtesy, or consideration doesn't exist. everyone has the same mindset- "what's in it for me", and every decision, argument thrown out revolves around that.

This is exactly why radical changes (for example, like this) will not work, since there will be too much opposition to the idea to actually deal with the problem, but nothing will be done to counter the problems either. Thus, I have only one thing to say. If no one is willing to change, no one has the right to complain. change starts from you, if you cannot contribute, don't help the stagnation.

Joe, you know as well as I do that your solution is more than viable, but the problem is not with the rules, its not with the game, its with the people. when there is no self control, no consideration for others, no common courtesy between players, whats to expect? In the current situation, i fail to see a simpler solution, at least until people change their mindset around here.

If none of these options work, at least for starters, make owning a battleship require a special request + cash deposit of say.. 150 mill (250 mill with the current economy is well.. bad to be honest). that should take care of the problems of the silent mindless pvp whores who dont know the rules, instead just powertrade to own the biggest ship in the game.
