Battleships- a solution

No, I don't believe restricting Battleships by rules is a good idea. The Admins should let us Roleplay these situtions out. And it shouldn't just be for Battleships either, as a Liberty Rogue I'd like to have at least some control about how Rogue Dessies are used in Liberty.

Factions should also not be able to stop the purchase of Battleships, either. But people who misuse them should have them removed, or at least grounded.

The problem is that this is something we simply cannot RP. In reality , no two opposing factions will ask each other to reduce the power of any one ship , just because they are having problems when fighting against it.
Battleships have been , for as long as I can remember and from what I've heard , even longer then that , a laughable matter when it comes down to actual performance , fear factor , rarity factor and RP factor.

This proposal is a big change of things , however people must allow change to take place in order for things to improve. If we sit still , complaining about this and that , without giving the developers , power to actually influence things and change a part of the system , then nothing really happens , nothing ever changes. Change is , at first scary , but when you think about it , it is the only way to move the server and the community relations - one step further along the path of development and progress.

I voted for option number 2. I believe that the majority of players will never be able , at least at this point , completely trust the faction leaders. Although , I know it , all of us wish for nothing else but the best for our server and the people who chose to play under our factions , there is simply too much disbelieve at this point for complete faction dominance over Battleships.

Because of that , I propose that the factions and people who have proven themselves in one of these ships be granted the right to operate with them and continue their respective RP.

Don't get me wrong , I too have a Battleship and I am an independent Order player. This example proves that you don't have to be in the faction in order to receive respect and a leaders position. And I too plan , if this get's approved , to write a statement towards the official faction and ask for the right to continue flying my ship.
