I'm done. I've said my piece. I guess this is a place where I'll just have to put up with a minority vote, and have things put in place that I don't agree with, at all.

After all, this isn't a democracy and my vote really doesn't matter. Does it?.

I don't like stirring up the past because it can create bad feelings. You want proof, of the things noobl3t, Jinx, Thexare, I and many others who don't have the guts to reply, or they agree and see no point in saying "/signed", are talking about? I'll see what you have to say after all capital ships are restricted to their "official" faction. Tell me then, when you are not part of a faction, and you have to apply to someone that you know doesn't like you, for whatever stupid reason.

Yes there are good people here. Yes there are good faction leaders here. I think the current bunch are mostly pretty good. This proposed system allows "bad faction leaders" to DO things, and "control" other people, based on OORP personal feelings. Yes, this is nitpicking. It is nitpicking with a purpose, to reveal the flaws in this kind of system.

There is nothing more important than freedom. People die to obtain freedom. You must KEEP fighting to hold onto freedom. People give themselves over to slavery all too easily. They substitute security for freedom. Think very carefully about what you propose for change. Not just in Disco, but also in Life. One day you'll wake up and see the jail that you created.
