I'm done. I've said my piece. I guess this is a place where I'll just have to put up with a minority vote, and have things put in place that I don't agree with, at all.

After all, this isn't a democracy and my vote really doesn't matter. Does it?.

I don't like stirring up the past because it can create bad feelings. You want proof, of the things noobl3t, Jinx, Thexare, I and many others who don't have the guts to reply, or they agree and see no point in saying "/signed", are talking about? I'll see what you have to say after all capital ships are restricted to their "official" faction. Tell me then, when you are not part of a faction, and you have to apply to someone that you know doesn't like you, for whatever stupid reason.

Yes there are good people here. Yes there are good faction leaders here. I think the current bunch are mostly pretty good. This proposed system allows "bad faction leaders" to DO things, and "control" other people, based on OORP personal feelings. Yes, this is nitpicking. It is nitpicking with a purpose, to reveal the flaws in this kind of system.

Kay, Hyung, just a question. If I were to lose my mind and tell Mike I wanted my office back and these proposed changes came into effect, where would I be abusing any indies? All I'd get is a bigger toy than the independents have, it wouldn't, as I see it, allow me any more power over them unless they actually did something dumb enough to warrant me blowing up one of my own people (which happens very rarely). The proposed system doesn't, to me, seem like it would give the faction leaders any kind of real power outside of the directly physical (and power is something we certainly need more of, I still think we were had a bit with the Faction Rights stuff).
