it would be nice when actions against players that are part of a faction resulted in heavy faction hits, too. ( like blowing up all the depots at fp1 )

pirating a player is a "deal" - resulting in the death of one player should be a faction hit. the usual faction standing is that a pirate is hostile to a trader - junkers and zoners are different to that. the simple attempt of piracy cannot cause a hostile standing - but the destruction can.

of course - on the flipside it also means that when a trader destroys the pirate - that the traders faction stading with the pirate becomes worse ( which isn t really a bad thing )

well - maybe cannon can do something about it - the game recognizes what ship destroys the other ship. - maybe its just a small step from checking the IDs and modifying the faction standing then.
