Game problems

Hi guys, I know i have been lost for a time! the reason why I was gone, was some trouble with my computer!
I just got a new rig, but some new problems arrived with it!
No matter what I try [Reinstalling Windows, drivers, directx, games], all the games that I start - lag!
At first, when they are at the menu screen, they are allright, but as soon as I connect to a server or start a new game, they start to lag, sounds freezes and starts going in a loop, and the screen goes in cubes! All I can do at that point, is to push the restart button on the computers box!
Any suggestions?

CPU Type - DualCore Intel Pentium E5200, 2500 MHz (12.5 x 200)
Motherboard Name - Intel Raisin City DG41RQ (2 PCI, 1 PCI-E x16, 2 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Video, Gigabit LAN)
Motherboard Chipset - Intel Eaglelake G41
System memory - 1.5 gb
Video Adapter - NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT (1024 MB)
Audio Adapter - Realtek ALC662 @ Intel 82801GB ICH7 - High Definition Audio Controller [A-1]
The computer had a built in video card, but I disabled it in the bios menu and in the device manager. After reinstalling the windows, I didnt even install drivers for it, I just installed the geforce card! Could the onboard card be the problem?

Nah, your video card won't be the problem.

Have you installed any drivers for the motherboard?

The reason I'm asking is that if you haven't, Windows will be using the 'generic' drivers for your LAN ports and that could very well be causing your lag.

Check for the motherboards drivers and look for the LAN/Miniport drivers, install those and that should fix it.

As always, if you aren't sure you can do it yourself, take it to a qualified computer technician.
Remember to back up your info, including you FL ID!!
