I do believe I asked the flames to stop. Would a forum mod please clean up Baltar's post?

I was on topic with my comments PRIOR to Kurosora telling me to "shut up." Just because I disagree with you doesn't mean I'm flaming. If you cannot take criticism or someone with a different viewpoint than your own then you need to grow some thicker skin.

Try directing the "cleaning up" to those who are making things personal. And mods ... please read all my posts here and put into context of the discussion. Then please clean up those who took this OFF topic by making it personal. I simply responded to the discussion like everyone else and Kurosora chose to tell me to "shut up" rather than to refute my position.

Baltar, I think -you're- the one who needs to learn to grow up. You marched in with the flamethrower, don't get mad at us for getting our chainsaws.

This is a discussion - we're working out the kinks here. All sides have to be discussed - INCLUDING the ones you don't like. We're working on a rule improvement here; these things take time and well-thought-out discussion. Put the matches away and extinguish the flames in your post.

This IS a discussion ... and I disagreed with one or two of your points. How in the world is that interpreted as flaming? And as you mentioned ... all sides have to be discussed. I'm presenting one side. Telling me to "shut up" is insulting and just enrages me more. So ... you can either debate me on the issue or you can ignore me. Which will it be sir? But I'm NOT gonna stand by and be told to "shut up." That just tells me that you're not interested in any opposing view.
