The Borei

Day 2

I came back the next morning to find my office completely cleared out along with a letter notifying me that I had been fired from my desk job and was being moved back out into the field to supervise the drones that mined the fields.

In a strange way, I was stasfied that I was finally going back out into the mining fields to supervise, even if it was only to look over the boring and dull AI's that did the same routines every day for hours a day. On the desk as well was a Non-confidentiality letter to be signed for any information pertaining to the "Borei" that I may have read in any reports.

"What's this?" I said outloud reading it again. "Borei?"

I shook my head and signed the document regardless. I guessed that this "Borei" was another "Nemesis" (another AI that had gone beserk) that had happened some years back and they were covering their tracks.

Wasn't my problem. I was going back out to the field...thank God.
