Order / Corsair alliance

Now since I tried to use the search engine, but it failed. (perhaps after teh forum board clean up it got deleted) I am going to make a new one. The reason why im using necromancy is one veryimportant argument that is agianst the current stance of diplomacy.

Arguments agianst:
* Corsairs are bad people. Trying to conquer us much territory as possible. Plunder the riches and fuel their empire, no matter by what means. Rememeber good old movies abouta villains who dreamed abotu world domination and laughed like a madmen?:crazy:

While Order are a good guys. Who cares to save everyone from terrible nomads. Quite ... nice team of uber villains and superheros..


* Order tend to have variuos allies which are Corsairs enemies. Like Blood Dragons or Even Outcasts. I dont think COrsairs would trust them in the first place.


* Corsairs gains nothing from current alliance. Order do not help at war with outcasts. Defend of gamma? dont give me that. THe answer- you dont. I was flying quite a lot on my corsair character, and fought Outcasts in gamma about 8 - 9 times. No order shown up.



Arguments for being in alliance.

* Its canon. I dont know why, I cant explain why, but some from devs tells it - I do, no matter if it ruins my rp or do not complies with logical thinking. Yes? This is crap - not an argument. Same as: "It is becouse I say so" does not help to convince people on regular terms, does it?

* Technology share.. mainly Osiris. It was the main reason why we got in alliance. Let me quite one of the senor members, Elder of the Corsairs:

Also a big part is it wasn't that the Order gave the Sairs the Osiris blueprints to make Sairs a stung fleet. Until recently the Order didn't have the facilities to build them, so they asked the Sairs to build the ships for them. Without the Sairs building those ships, the Order would have been wiped out by the BHG and Liberty long ago.

... oops... But last time I checked about osiris is: "<...> Even the Corsairs want this vessel in active service although the Order is loathe to allow even it's vague allies access to this ship." And: "Special request or posted forum roleplay is required for Corsairs ID'd characters to use."

This actually denies the main reason why we got in the alliance at the first place, if Corsairs are no longer allowed to have their share of the bargain? Or you changed history and corsairs no longer have the blueprints?.. or .. wait. if you did, you overleft something. Like Corsair - Order alliance. That ship was the main reason. If you take it away it ruins all the rp story why we got into such diplomatic stance.


* Holds off nomad invasion. - oh this is really nuisense. ORder would fight squishes anyhow. They do not need to be in alliance for that. They are protecting Liberty from nomads same as protecting Corsairs. But the diplomatic stance its a bit diffrent.


* Fight BHG... Alright. YOu think Corsairs would stop fight bhg in those systems. Ororder would stop doing that. Or they would stop to shot common enemy? Come on. There is lot's of factions who have comon enemies but they are not allied.

This is not enought reason to be in an alliance, and to trow a lot of resources to help order than it .. shakes it heads from Corsairs.
