Nomads are a bigger problem for Corsairs than... lets say Bretonians... because there is a jumphole to a nomad world right in gamma.

The vanilla wrecks near the nomad system jump holes in alpha and gamma, and the according bar rumors/infocards imply that Outcast and Corsairs have seen Nomads long before Nomads infected Rhineland and Kusari.

Its implied that Corsairs were fighting the nomads, while Outcasts saw them as spirits, and heard them in their cardamine trance.

You would think that the Order and LSF would be allies after the end of the SP campain. The disco storyline says they ended up fighting each other... not my decision, I think its ok and interesting.

Bretonia is farthest from any nomad systems, except for the DKV ruins maybe... so they are hardly fighting them at all.

Yet, there is a sort of unofficial Outcast/bret alliance. I wont say more on it, but I supose the devs know what they are doing considering the future developement of hte storyline.

Rhineland suffered most in the Nomad war. They established a Gottkanzler dictature to get rid of the nomads, and are fighting them hard in the form of wilde. I would personally like to see an alliance between Rhineland and Order, if only an unofficial one. Makes sense with regard to Liberty too.

Liberty... they are doing secret experiments in Alaska. And they decided to fight the Order. And started war with Rhineland. And got the shrine and Oracles right in their back yard. In the SP you heard that the LSF was obviously infected since they started chasing Juni and Trent and the FP7 refugees. But at the end of hte SP campain htey said The Order is pardonned and so on, but not that all the LSF and government is really purged form nomads. Its kinda swept under the rug. When you see morphs and keepers, you wont see the navy ?r LSF attacking them all the time. You can make theories about all that as you like, I got mine.

Kusari was also infected, the infected got busted, and they are fighting the Kusari wilde (at least I heard they are, I never actually saw it).

About all the other factions, yes they should theoretically be fighting the nomads, but they dont have them in their backyard yet. Corsairs certainly do, as does Rhineland and Kusari. Order is in the backyard of hte Nomads, where they should be. Nomads are in the backyard of the Outcast, but they are welcome there. Anothe reason to side for Order to side with Corsairs.
Why wouldnt Corairs be allied with Order?
The Corsairs were the first to fight the nomads (graveyard in Gamma).
The Corsairs pillage the DKV ruins, and make a business out of it. The nomads wont like that.
The Corsairs might be the reason the 'caretakers' aka the nomads attacked humanity in the first place.

So, the Order has interest in controlling the DKV artifact trade, and in being involved in it.. to have the first hand on those artifacts that are valuable or 'dangerous' and leave the rest to be examined by human scientists... so that humanity will understand the DKV better and have better cards against the nomads.

Order dont care much if one human robs another... they care if at least one of the 2 survive.

the nomads attacked the humans because they infested the space their creators have given to them to temporarily live in, not because of the corsairs. the daam k'vosh created the nomads and put them in sirius space so that they can learn, evolve, make progress and eventually travel outside of sirius to find and rejoin the daam k'vosh. humans in sirius are preventing this, that is why they fight them. it was the nomads home in the first place. try to see this conflict as two empires waging war over soil, with the nomads being the original inhabitants and humans the attackers. nomads motives are not to simply eradicate mankind, just get them out of thir porch.
