And, then again, it's always possible to play along with said person... sometimes it ends up being fairly fun. Rather than chafing against each other, going with the flow and maybe helping the roleplay along and tailoring it to be a little more logical can be much more fun for both parties. Both sides can get involved, instead of one side resisting, refusing to step out on a limb, and being unwilling to give things a try.
It's not like things in Discovery are going to permanently change with the events of this roleplay - unless the roleplay actually turn out good.
Let them have their fun?
If one person is "powergaming," they're not going to be the type that's actually able to convince a developer to change Sirius permanently with the effects of said roleplay. Things will go back to normal after the it runs its course, so what's the big deal?
