1) Move your head next to the monitor, so that the direction you are facing is perpendicular to the screen.
2) Call someone whose time you want to waste into the room.
3) Pretend to eat smuggler with mouth.
4) ?!?!?!!?
5) Profit.

Seriously though, there is not much you can do in your current ship.

Having an alternate fighter or bomber character may be best.
