The thing that linkus mentioned still applies... they will just go around them, but i guess as an SRP ship it may work as a deterrent for invading forces.
nice idea on the semi-permanent mines, like the large ancient ones, except they die after a certain amount of explosions
im unsure of this ship now, it has uses but also downsides, wed have to find something that fits the gap in the middle for this to be useful
