So alltogether is there really even a point to this?

You are almost literally complaining for the sake of complaining.

Its just pointless really.

But just for the sake of arguement, who says any of these messages are like emails. Maybe they are realtime video messages, so you can talk to the person face to face. If you think of it that way, im pretty sure your message system, or video communication system would tell you.

Becuase im sure it would be so much more realistic (Sarcasm if ya dont get it) that your message system is just going to pop the message on screen. Something tells me it would warn you and maybe, ask for permission to display said message.
