Possible Event Discussion

Since there was a bit of discussion (!) regarding the potential for this occurring...

In the interests of role-playing and being fair about it, I hereby propose that the BHG| attack and lay waste to Omega-52. If the SCRA can't defend it, that is...

Okay, that may not happen. But in keeping with the general consensus that right now there's a lot of people shooting at each other, and since we did make our secret movement orders that we'd go either attack or at least recon in force Omega-52 just to see what that pesky SCRA has going for it - and since they are allied now with the Order, so we don't need any other excuse...

Let's work this out I think probably something like in a week or so would be good, so we all have notice. And I'd also like to have the battle have some consequences. If you die, you can't fly that character anywhere for two weeks. Another other thoughts and/or suggestions for this are welcome here.

Not a big fan of that actually. Having an event would be quite enjoyable between the big ships of yours and our snubby-swarms. But "laying waste" to our guard system isn't something I think we're down for. It'd be like us saying we're coming into 56 and killing alabama. What say to a boomboom in...oh...15? near Rostock? or somewhere in the Omegas (41 or 47 wouldn't be bad).

As for the consequences...I have a feeling if the Core brings their battlebarges, there's going to be an awful lot of BHG that can't fly those battlebarges for a couple weeks. not talking smack or anything, but SCRA's gotten pretty good at blowing up big ships. maybe not flying a character for a week or so would be better than two...two's a LONG time in discoland.

Since the BHG can field quite a nice balanced force, has there been thought to group compositions or such? Numbers would most definitely be on the BHG side. What about inviting our Order allies in as well? cap v cap and snub v snub in one glorious battle would be fun, but while BHG and Core have dozens of active players, SCRA I know has maybe a dozen...with TCG or Order| involved, we could probably field 15-20 players, depending on time and date.
