Omicron-85 was locked out because of political differences between the NovaPG, RoS and 101st. Said differences have long since been resolved, and I should hope I won't need to use it to make a statement again.
However, people don't seem to get it that this is the faction's guard system. We pay a billion credits for this thing, we have it modded to our specifications, and quite frankly, we don't want to see them taken away. We had sovereign control over space-actual jurisdiction. Screw setting examples. That's not the point of being a faction. We are seen as an example because we have (had) control. That's what makes Factions different. We can control territory. We can make things happen.
We no longer have any real rights. We now have nothing but our group identities. Anybody can chase a hostile out of their home system-that's a given. Until we got ruled on, nobody but the factions could actually govern.
So! We are being condemned to anarchy, where it is no longer legal to 'get ahead', if you will. On that note, why don't we just turn off PvP?:)

You know, incredible as it sounds, I remember a time when we didn't have a Sanction forum. I remember a time before Violation reports. I remember a time when screwups were so rare that whenever somebody broke a rule you actually PMed or Skyped an Admin directly to get something done about it, and when a lot of people never reported a single person. I remember a time when a faction was allowed its control, and the indies strove to be like the factions. I know a lot of Outcast indies who still do. They never countermanded factions; I know. I was one of those indies for a long, long time.
