Exactly this. Thats at least what I try to get into peoples heads, even though its rather hard sometimes. Retribution just has no place in this game.
And that sad I was very sad when I flew my nice little Orchid into Tau 23, just to be shot by 3 Gunboats, which after I PM'd them to ask if it was necessary to use that amount of ships, answered 'Yes, you have to gank, otherwise you will be ganked'. Thats the kind of attitude that definitely needs to disappear, but it has to come from both sides of the fence if you want to get rid of it.
