Say NO to turret steering !

Okay first of all I would like to start my post by praising the admins for creating this wonderfull mod,and ofcourse Microsoft Games for creating Freelancer.You are the best guys:)
I have been playing Freeelancer multiplayer for almost 4 years now.I have played one year on voidserver,where I learned the basics of pvp,then went to HHC for 2 years where I consolidated my pvp skills,and now I came here,almost one year ago,to try out some RPing.Heck I've always wanted to RP as a BAF or any other millitary faction:)

Well,now to get to the core thing.I would like to say that I am not even close to the best pvpers on freelancer,kinda average guy.I always know how to lose or win a battle,and very few times I flammed about it.
One day I met a guy who was flying a sabre.We did the RP thing,then we went in battle.I had 3 more BAF guys with me,and that guy got 2-3 more KNF guys to support him.So,I engaged him,and I was confident I would win,but I couldn't.That guy was hitting me like crazy,no matter how hard I tried.And I was in an eagle,so I could actually outturn him.To my disgust,I saw that he was shooting backwards with the rear turret.Yes,he was flyng like a npc in one direction,and shooting backwards.
After I got killed,the other 3 guys from BAF were killed too by this thing.I talked to that guy and he told me about turret steering.I did some research,found out what it does,tested it abit.Guess what?I didn't like it!

Now,we did some pvps with turret on and off,and when he was with turret off,he was a big sitting duck for me,absolutely no prob for me to take him out without using any nanos.However,when he turned turret on,I had no chance than to get in his back,which was almostg impossible,and shoot him,while his rear turret was shooting me.

In this video,I used turret too,but was so hard to use I had more chances without it.He was using it too.

So,as you can see,this turret steering will turn uber noobs into uberpwnzors who will have absolutely no problem at aiming,turning(this thing eliminates the need of engine kill,a VITAL thing in outturning and maneuvering).And yes,the art of aiming does exist.You need at least 2 years of playing FL in order to get a decent aim.
So,my suggestion?BAN this thing for fighters ,bombersand freighters,where the pvp is so much dinamic,and allow it for all other ships.I think gunships should get it,or shouldn't.I don't know,but since gunships are so slow,they should get it too.
Using this thing will COMPLETLY DESTROY THE PVP RULES SET 7 YEARS AGO!!Think of the beauty of pvp,how cool it is now,and how uncool it will be with this on!What is better?a pvp where skill matters,or a pvp where both sides use a "cheat",and where luck will decide who will win?because lets be honest,if u get the hang of this thing,nothing can stop you,except other player with turret steering.Basicaly,both sides zoom at extreme distances,maneuver with keyboard(this is against basic pvp rules,you maneuver with mouse,and strafe with keyboard,if you set the maneuver controls to the keyboard you will never be able to do the things you could do with the mouse cuz u wont have the same flexibility ) ,barely move your cursor and just hope you'll win.That aint skill,that is noobishm.

But what about caps?well,they were never designed to be flown by player,so maneuvrability is severly limited.You have to use turret steering in all cases,and you cant steer it in turret view,so turret steering will add more dinamic and beauty to battleship pvps.And it wont be that obvious,its not like battleships oiutturn eachother,you just shoot and 50% of ur shells will hit the target if u aim well.So I am for adding turret steering to capitals.

I am a hardcore freelancer player who pvped for almost 4 years.I liked,i like and will always like having a good pvp.If admins decide to implement this thing for fighters and bobmers and freighters,then all I can say is goodbye!The discovery mod wont have any value for me anymore,because it will be spoiled by this thing.And i wont be the only one who will be leaving,tons of ppl will leave the server because you decide to change the whole pvp by introducing a thing u thing makes pvp better,but in fact makes it alot worse!

So ,its your decision admins:keep the oldschool pvp for fighters and keep your players,or introduce a cheat for all players and lose your players.Your decision.You are the ones who can save Freelancer Discovery RP 24/7 Server.
