Acoustical guitar has metal strings-usually bronze alloy and classic guitar has plastic strings and it was build for playing school style classical music.
You say you probably wont have time to play anyway so i suggest metal string acoustic guitar cause it's much easier to learn modern guitar playing then classical-you need to go to school many years for that...
Videos and internet are also bad solution for learning from scratch,it's much better to find someone who will spend some time with you showing you the basics.Once you learn the basic stuff it's really not that hard to improve to the point when you'll be able to play popular songs on your guitar.
But if you don't have the will to learn and play don't do it,it's just a waste of your time and those who teaching you.If you don't want to play nobody can teach you.
