its stylish - much nicer than a grey box with thrusters ( like so many of the homeworld designs ) - if it wasn t for the sound that drives me mad, i d love to use it as a "yacht" and explore vessel.

I'd love to fly one for the Phantoms... Sadly (see below).

Yeah, but not only is the Marsflier overpowered but it's also really hard to RP.

The Raven's Talon, which you get at Planet Gran Canaria, looks pretty nice and is a well-balanced ship. Give it a try.

I still haven't found a favourite ship myself. I like the Templar and Nepthys because they have strong hulls, but the ship I'm using at the moment, the Kiith Somtaaw Heavy Fighter (which is mis-classified and should be classified as a VHF due to its stats) has great firepower.

The Marsflyer isn't overpowered. It flies like a brick with a guy on it whos blowing backwards to get it to move forward. Its the heaviest ship I've ever flown. A man in a Rheinland bomber flew circles around me. :wacko:

If it could move, I would use it. I love that ship... As I love cheap old movies! And annoying people by sitting on their bridge... "Bing.... Bing.... Bing.... Bing...."


Did I mention that I feel the Raven's Talon is overpowered? Meh. Guess I didn't. Oh well.
