This is why I say buff mining:
It seems that mining has been nerfed so that it is 'realistic'.You want realistic mining?Then how about after a field has been mined,it gets depleted permanently.Now that is realistic.You want to play realistic or you want to play a game?

Edit: so when you press Y you only see the ships names that are in your system, nothing else.

Definitely.You want somebody to give you their location?Use PMs.Where they are is their private business.
