There are and always will be 3 issues:


a) people who mount wrong guns/ships cause they aren't aware that here it's against the rules

b) people who mount wrong guns/ships cause they don't care about rules

b) people who "RP" only to get better guns/ships

Current tech chart helps with

a) people can read what is allowed

b) it's easy to sanction them because there are less grey areas

it doesn't help with
c)

It kind of even makes it worse as we get situation when factions "trade" stuff around. (i.e. FA bombers for corsairs, corsair gbs for FA).
It also promotes more elitism as it can be lot about who know's who.
