And I say: go and have fun guys - even at my expense. I had a transport with Cobalt Ore shot down by the RM the other day - did not know about this conflict at the time.
I would like to commend you for making a thread like this - in fact it should be mandatory for conflicts like this. For us causal players, that has a life outside the game and the forum, it is next to impossible to stay up to date otherwise. A thread like this - IMO - was sadly missed in the Corsair - Zoner conflict. I still do not know how that confict ended - and what consequenses it had.
You should all be aware however this thread alone does not wipe out the problems concerning the information about the game (politics et all). F.x.: In-game (iRP) I asked a =CR=-guy, where the Corsairs were in this conflict - they are after all allied to the CR according to the ID-infochart. "That's obselete!", he said.
WHAT?? If we no longer can trust the ID-info, then it will almost be impossible to enter this game for new players. Especially when you consider the harsh reactions of the admins.
So come 4.86 I think it is VERY IMPORTANT, that the ID's, infocards in cargoholds - and ABOVE ALL - the Wiki gets updated - and stays updated.
In fact IMO no agreement, edict, deal, trade/mine restriction or anything else of permanent consequense for players should be valid without being included in the Wiki in its final form. Published here is not enough. Everything drowns in endless comments.
I hope you all understand that indies are the new blood to the Disco Freelancer. Do not scare us away by making this a closed club for forum nerds.
Did I tell you, that I am proud of being an indie?

EDIT: By the way: even as an indie I can realise the RP potential for this conflict. Fantastic! Maybe we will even see CAP actions between RM and the IMG-alliance?
