can't decide weather I'd prefer phantoms to be removed entirely or removing and/or unrestricting the SRP only ships. I guess one reason I loathe the phantoms is due to their exclusiveness, not that I care to join, its just an arbitrary outlet for certain privileged players to kill uncontrollably.

But mainly I'd just like to make the game more accessible (I mean all aspects) to the humble bourgeois of Disco, and less only to the forum gods and those that manipulate the less favored player from their seats in high places.

a more constructive opinion, is give all factions (or just factions involving combat) access to more Epic NPC battles, sure alot of players hate NPCs altogether, but I have more fun doing sair missions in delta against countless ossies then prowling for hour to find a human to harvest the blue message from. I say let there be NPC cap missions and the like, I way to make a slight amount of money while having a good time with your friends.
Give factions like the corsairs access to missions involving outcast or bounty hunter battleships (or just cruisers) Liberty navy access to missions with Rogue cruisers (if the LR- faction doesn't whine too much about there only being limited scyllas). however I'm not promoting random appearances of caps ingame, those can ruin hours of travel in seconds, more to the high rolling missions style NPCs. fighting NPC fighters can just get annoying.

PLEASE REMOVE ALL CRUISE DISRUPTORS FROM NPCS!!

one more suggestion: though not as important, a non-house passage from the omicrons/sigmas/omegas/ to the taus would be great! (one thats not omicron alpha or otherwise run by one faction or another)

You forgot to add: "with imbalanced ships and weapons" at the end of that sentence.

On topic now.

The one thing i would like to change about Disco, is the way it is being developed.

Instead of working on a big update, the dev team should finally after all these years work on an update which would fix all of the things that are not working properly in terms of game mechanics. An update which would fix all the imbalances we have now. An update which purpose would be to minimalize the server load, so that gameplay [imo one of the most important things] would be smoother and crispier.

I was pleasantly surprised when i first set my foot in here, that despite Disco being a big mod, the gameplay was rather unhindered by this. But after some time spent here i began to discover these little things that are a tradeoff for all those empty systems, npcs and whatnot. We'll have an update on our hands soon that implements what ? 20+ new systems ? WHAT FOR ?

Here's a short list of things that are borken or in need of tweaking, off the top of my head:
1. Fighter missiles and torpedoes - they don't track properly, at least not when the server is nearly full. If they were to be fixed, they could be tweaked to the point of usefulness, so they could be used as a counter to fighters and bombers [instead of MR and mines], which leads me to:
2. Make the damn fighters and bombers less immortal please ? As someone mentioned before, there's no way to destroy a bunch of bombers before they destroy their target; also half a dozen or more of fighters are able to destroy a battleship - which is basically defenceless.
3. I've had a doubtful pleasure of having a 2v2 fighter battle lately. It lasted 1 hour +. That's wrong.
4. There is too much, too annoying NPC's.
5. 4 hour death rule. Silly.

That is that.

I also would like to add; the 4 hour rule does make the game more realistic, but it also causes lots of rage, hateful flaming, bad feelings, and bais against less skilled players.

the 4 hour rule should diffidently be reduced, it makes the game much less enjoyable for those who don't put 4+ hours a day into fighter battles.

Also it could be a great way to have fun together, and not roaming foolishly alone in sirius with a cruiser / Gb / and even Bs... Yea' I already saw a Bs roaming alone in Dublin, I'm sure that you know who he is. But it's just an example, it's not a case isolated.

After that, it would be great to compare a MP game (Freelancer) with all new MMO games (Pick whatever you want). I think that it could be a good way to have funny time together if, for example, we can make epic missions in certains systems where history showed us that there is a lot of tensions in these systems. Where we can find mission (impossible to make alone) against Gunboats / Cruisers / and even Battleship (All armored of course). It could be a great experience and really good way to have fun together (again)

Example :

- Tau 37 (IMG / Outcasts)
- Tau 31 (KNF / BAF)
- New Hampshire / Bering / Hudson (Rheinland Military / navy)
- Alaska (Order / Navy / LSF)
- Eta (Outcasts / Corsairs)
- O-49 (Mollys / Corsairs)
- Delta (BHG / Order / Nomads)


After that, we could make RP-Mission, for example we can read on the history of sirius something interesting : 816 AS [...] Rheinland gains proof that liberty conducts secret experiments on the Nomads.

Why not ? But did you ever saw a NPC Trasport vessel full with Cryocubes and Nomads Brain escorted by NPC LSF fighters / Gb / Cruisers in Alaska system ?

We could compare it with Outcasts and Cardamine. Etc... ect...

Well, some are bored of BS / cruiser / GB / bombers / fighters Spam, some are bored of destroying stations / fighters in missions, it's maybe the time to change it.
