Good day all,
Had some incredible luck today, really kind of freaky...
Started with somehow avoiding a pair of corsairs in Stuttgart, then avoiding another pair near the Hamburg gate in Berlin. Then having a 5th randomly explode while I was waiting for some RM to arrive. No idea what happened to the last fellow...
This was on a slightly changed Pullman, good profit.
After arriving back, Fimmion Cage, our DSO launched! Good ta have you back Cage. Jumped to Leeds to find an outcast pirating. I believe Fimmion is going to be reporting on this, so I'll leave it to him.
Then Sir Alisdair launches, and Gunther too. Formed up and decided to do a simple Pullman, as Gunther had business to attend in Rheinland.
Ran into a pair of LWB in Stuttgart, somehow we passed through the downed trade lanes, and jumped.
Here's where my luck held up again. I managed to get into the lane seconds before the LWB disabled it and make my escape to Dortmund. The others weren't so lucky.
After we reached Dortmund, Gunther decided to have repair crews work on his ship there. Ion storm hit.
Er... Lets see. Oh yes, the boss, Cage and I met up after the storm abated, and continued the run without problems. Except from a little sighting of some corsairs in Cambridge...

So, first of all...
Today in Leeds one of our transports ran into an Outcast. Luckily, a few of the Queen's pilots were able to quickly come to aid the Gateway trader.
I caught up and made sure our transport was safely landed, then went to help fight the pirate.
After a pretty long battle, with no one gaining any advantage, the Outcast agreed to be escorted from the system. Only one casualty occurred, forgive me for forgetting who it was...
(//Also i apologize for not knowing which branches of the Queen's pilots were there...i can never keep them straight.)
Now to the less serious subject.
I'm back from a long time of recovery from certain events. I'm sorry i wasn't here for the announcing of GI's official status, or the major events that took place between us and BowEx. Also, to any new recruits i have not yet met, hello! I'm looking forward to meeting and flying with every one of you. And to all Gateway Interstellar employees, i hope i can help keep you all safe in the days to come.

Good day All,
Hope you are all well. Today when heading to New york to deliver some Berl to Newark Station i was stopped just inside the New york system at the California jump gate by a hacker whose name escapes me for the moment. He demanded a ridiculous amount of credits so i attempted to get his price down. Never does to pay the first price eh.. Alas, he was not interested and so opened fire on me. I called a system wide mayday.
Mr Bloom of the Liverpool came to my aid almost immediately and so did a few of the military types who were close by. The hacker soon had enough and jumped back through to California. My thanks go out to Malorise for his swift aid and to everyone else who helped. I think these piraty types are getting a bit full of themselves and are asking way to much in tax creds. Am currently docked at Manhatten to affect repairs

Guten Tag everyone,
Yesterday was mainly quiet as a ran some minor runs for Planetform and ALG. I was contacted by an anonymous source that stated that the Kusari had broken through the Leeds line and were holding position in a Destroyer above the Planet. If this was true, then I must say that it is dire news. I did doubt this man's credentials, though, and the Battleship Derby is still operational as far as I know, so hopefully the threat has passed...
As some of you may already know, I'm having recurring engine trouble. It pops up without notice and my engines return to normal in a matter of minutes. I hope everyone can tolerate this, and I truly do apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you,
~Gunther Koch

[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
Today was a bit hectic I started out fine and suddenly I found myself being pirated by an outcast named Vincent.Richards asking for a ridiculous amount of money. I pleaded with him to bring it down a bit and he denied and started to open Fire on the Somersets Hull. Our shields lasted through and right when I was about to order my gunners to open fire a Bounty Hunter by the name of Skylark came through the lane. The outcast turned tail and ran, as he did I opened fire and the Bounty Hunter went for the chase and my crew and me continued our route.
As we got a safe distance from the engagement area we let our guard down as we got into Leeds. As I was approaching the planet I suddenly spotted Vincent.Richards no longer tailed by Skylark approaching our position from behind planet Leeds. As I spotted him he greeted me in a way that showed vengeance so we took refuge on Leeds soon again Skylark appeared on my scanner and I contacted him via Private comms to tell him Vincents location in the planets Orbit. Again Vincent fled and and we resumed our course to LD-14. We arrived safely and took a break at the pub while our shipment was unloaded. I offered to pay the Bounty Hunter for helping me but Vincent was his target and thats what he was wanting payment for..
We began our journey to Cardiff soon after to load up on Bery and once again! as we approached leeds a faint silhouette showed up on the horizon it was Vincent back to harass us more. However this time we didn't have any cargo and I was prepared to give the order to my gunners and prepare for evasive manuevers. But knowing he was already hunted and the fact that the Somerset is one of the finest Fireflies in service probably made him decide to cut his losses and head back.
After that we continued on our journey with no problems until a Corsair disrupted the trade lane and ordered and feasible sum of credits to which we paid as he had taken us completely by surprise. We paid the pirate and continued on later docking at New Berlin for the Night.

Greetings,
I've been a bit tardy in keeping up with my reports, this is party due to my communications being a bit touch and go. I've run a few triads solo and with independent traders, good fellows all. I look forward to getting back into the trade lanes more activly once I get these repairs sorted out.

Subject: Bloody Encounter
Sir Alisdair Buchanan and others concerned,
Mr.Gunther Koch of the Caernarvon and I ran into some major trouble in Liberty.
We were delivering some food to Manhattan, when we encountered the Xeno known as "Copperhead".
He was in the process of escaping numerous Navy ships when we came through the gate. He announced that it wasn't his fight, then disappeared from our scanners. We assumed he had left, so we continued on through the trade lane. It was disrupted, and Copperhead was waiting.
He demanded that all cargo being hauled by the Caernarvon be dropped, we refused and tried to bargain.
Unfortunately, Xenos being the tenacious bunch they are, he refused.
Then, out of nowhere comes an Outcast by the name of Vincent Richards.
I've had an encounter with this particular unlawful before, and his reason for being there was revenge.
He stated that he had a bone to pick with me, and engaged.
I defended myself, but in the meantime the Xeno opened fire on Mr.Koch!
I disengaged the Outcast and pursued Copperhead in attempt to distract his fire from the Caernarvon.
It wasn't working, so Mr.Koch called in a Mandalorian. I believe his name was Kal'ika Vergebuir, but i'm not entirely certain.(//Forgive me if i'm wrong, Mandalorian.)
He was there in an instant and opened fire on the Xeno, i continued to help but i still had the Outcast on me so i couldn't get very many good shots off.
Mr.Koch was able to make an emergency landing, not unharmed, but alive.
I then re-engaged the Outcast, but found that i was also combating a mercenary!
Khermal was his name.
I was in open space, fighting...er...dodging, for a short while before i realized i would not be able to last if the Xeno decided to turn around and attack also.
I moved closer to the nearest planet in hopes of getting aid from the Liberty Police and/or Navy.
I did, but they didn't help much. (//NPCs)
After an amount of time unknown to me, i met someones friend. He was a nuclear mine...
I was obviously able to eject, and the Mandalorian managed to tractor in my escape pod.
I owe you my life, warrior of Mandalore.
Mr.Koch ordered the Mandalorian to retreat after this, and then acquired my escape pod.
I hitched a ride back to Kensington with Mr.Koch and am now safely at Kensington, resting and waiting for my new eagle to arrive...

Guten Tag everyone,
Although, it really isn't a good day. I have returned to Kensington with Herr Cage, and we had a good way back aside from a run-in with a Harvester in California. He almost destroyed my shields while I was hailing him, gave us quite the fright. Noting how the previous encounter had went, I paid him. He then stated that we were "logical" as Gateway "units." I stated that logic is separate from fear, and he, being a machine, did not understand. Could never expect a machine to understand human emotions, afterall...
On the before engagement, though, in monetary specifics, I lost about 3,000 units of Luxury Food from that fight, due to both lost cargo pods and damaged cargo pods. I also paid the Mandelorian 750,000 credits for services rendered in such an outstanding situation, and for saving Herr Cage's life.
I feel guilty about the whole event. If only I had given those goods to the Xeno, or called the authorities sooner, then this wouldn't have happened. I am sorry everyone...

Hello there Gunther.
No need to be sorry my friend, there harvesters are strange things indeed. Although they claim to be machines with no emotions they still demand a payment!!! This is greed is it not, another emotion they claim not to have!! very strange. And as for the Xenos, well enough said about them.
Pirates in general are getting far to sure of themselves lately demanding far to many tax credits. On a side note though, ran into a Rogue vessel last night called Smoq2 in the California system. He disrupted my trade lane so i had no chance of avoiding him. After demanding a reasonable tax he then said he liked Gateway so he might take us of his tax list!
Fly safe friend.

Mr. Cage and Mr. Koch,
I am terribly sorry to hear of your encounters yesterday. You acquitted yourselves admirably, and have demonstrated quick thinking and good judgment.
Mr. Cage, well done on the defense. What is the situation with this Outcast that would promt a revenge attack? If it is necessary, we will post a bounty on him that I am sure the Mandalorians would fulfill. Meanwhile, please rest well; I have sent a basket of teas and herbs (as well as a free tab at the Pub), and I have told the chief to make your ship repairs top priority.
Mr. Koch, I do not believe you acted inappropriately, considering the quick pace of events and unexpected surprises. Demanding a total jettison seems rather extreme, even for a Xeno, and he couldn't have expected you to comply that easily, nor would I. The entrance of the Outcast and his accomplice was unforeseen, and unfortunately, but not a result of anyone's carelessness. You handled the Harvester just fine, though what the toasters would do with credits is quite beyond me. Thanks, also, for brining Mr. Cage to safety.
