It already happened. Trust me. I couldn't make up to 100 mio per hour on trading or mining. Maybe on mining, but only for as long as the fields and the traders last, not when transporting the stuff yourself.
Though I guess the devs nerfed it a bit in a certain spot. Not sure about other places, maybe there're some other "well paying" missions spots around like mine.
(Btw: CURSE YOU! THOU HAVETH TAKEN AWAY MINE MONEY GRINDER! ... or at least made it "less nice".)

Mind you, I guess what the thread starter wants is less payout from the drops and more payout from the mission itself. While I can imagine that being quite nice, especially when you do the missions in a group and considering that drops despawn at >2k range, which seriously sucks if you are doing cap missions, I can also see the flaws - as was mentioned earlier: there are some missions where you have to just kill a base (easy kill) or one NPC and you're done. It'd make those unbalanced.

Yes, Thanks. sorry I only have child-level English now. and I cost 30 mins to organized words from dictionary(70%) and memory as a correct sentence by my best. But still had to much errors. Sorry for waste ur time to research what I was talking. I'm just improving my English but I can't improve a lot in a few days you know.

i completed a mission yesterday that required me to kill four waves of six ships, for 1.1m.

all the time i was freaking out, just waiting for the caps to spawn, but they never did. ye, 10m missions would be nice, but then we'd all be doing missions rather than trading, so pirates would have nothing to do, so police would have nothing to do.

(much like what jumpdrives do to the economy)

I do like using my Corsair dread to make easy, not so boring cash. But it's not interacting with other players. Missions are an ooRP process of making money.
People generally should be doing trading and mining etc. to make money rather than this.
However, I want to see general commoditites get a decent and balanced buff before something like this happens.
+1

I dont see at all how its ooRP. It really isnt ooRP at all.

Mining and trading can be boring. There should be other ways to make money too. You wouldnt see the Navy just trade to make money would you? Or the LSF?

Nonononono. They would go in the feild an do missions. If its an NPC enemy then whatever. But its NOT ooRP.

If we increase the difficulty and bring the reward high then it will incourage groups of people to participate in the missions rather than going it alone. I know the 'sairs used to do this all the time and would get some nice cash and some nice pew pew action while there was nothing else to pop.

What would you rather see?
1. 5 capital ships doing missions with each other, only interacting with themselves and the NPCs they shoot at or...
2. 5 traders flying around sirius doing trading, interacting with the odd player they meet on their venture?

Missions are fine right now. You can make upwards to 15mil (5 mil for the mission itself and then another 10mil for 100 100,000credit cards. I think 100 is the most ive gotten on 1 mission) per mission

Truthfully? Almost only reason why Sairs raided old Eta spontaneously just before the 4.86 release was because there were oc blimps there grinding missions. Back then Eta was the only place in Disco where you could get decent payout for taking missions so it always had someone in it.

I myself was kinda hoping that after 4.86 each war zone with good missions would get a little bit of that, whereas you'd have 1-2 caps grinding missions which is an awesome activity starter (skype alerts about enemy cap in system X "lets log and kill it" -> enemy team logs in to support = activity builds in region without the need for faction driven events).

That said, mission payouts even now rival that of trading easily. Not sure if boosts are necessary.

I have other suggestion: upgrade damn mission description. I wasn't informed about caps about seven times for, let's say, 30 missions. ._.

Just take as rule of thumb that if a mission has higher than 950k reward, the possibility of caps appearing is greater than 0.
